- Animal Name Generator — Generate names for pets, wildlife characters, and fantasy creatures.
- Fantasy Animal Generator — Create original fantasy creatures with lore, abilities, and game-ready stat concepts.
All tools are provided free of charge. Animal Generator may in the future be supported in part by advertising provided through Google AdSense, a service of Google LLC. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.
The Service is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only. Content generated by our tools is not intended as professional advice of any kind, including veterinary, scientific, financial, or legal advice.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
Permitted Uses
- Personal, educational, and non-commercial projects
- Creative writing, worldbuilding, and storytelling
- Tabletop role-playing games and campaign design
- Classroom and educational activities
- Game design and development, including commercial projects
- Commercial use of generated content, subject to the license in Section 4
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the Site without written permission
- Using bots or automation in a way that places excessive load on our infrastructure
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or related systems
- Reproducing, duplicating, copying, or reselling the Site's interface, design, or underlying code
- Generating content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or illegal activity
- Misrepresenting generated output as professional scientific, wildlife, veterinary, or legal advice

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these prohibited use rules.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Content
The Service and its original content, including website design, layout, graphics, logos, interfaces, underlying code, structured animal data, and editorial text, are owned by Animal Generator or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit our proprietary site materials without express written permission.
Generated Content
Content generated through our tools, including names, creature descriptions, hybrid concepts, fantasy creature profiles, stat concepts, and prompt text, is provided to you under a free-to-use license subject to the conditions below:
- AllowedYou may use generated content for personal, educational, and commercial projects.
- AllowedYou may include generated content in published works, games, and creative products.
- AllowedYou do not need to credit Animal Generator, though attribution is appreciated.
- Not allowedYou may not resell, repackage, or redistribute the Animal Generator tool itself or its structured database.
- Not allowedYou may not falsely claim that generated content was produced entirely without tool assistance where disclosure is legally required.
Third-Party Content
Animal Generator references publicly available scientific and wildlife information, and conservation status descriptions may follow IUCN Red List classifications. We do not claim ownership over factual scientific information about real animals.

5. User-Generated Content
The Service currently does not include user accounts, public forums, or community submission features. Users do not submit content to our servers for public display.
Content saved via our tools, such as favorite animals, bestiary entries, or name lists, is stored locally on your device using browser storage and is not transmitted to our servers as part of normal site use.
If we introduce community features in the future, we may update these Terms and the Site's privacy disclosures accordingly.
Contact Messages
When you contact us through our email-based form or by direct email, you grant us permission to use the content of your message solely for the purpose of reviewing and responding to your inquiry. We will not publish those messages without your consent unless required by law.
6. Advertising & Third-Party Links

Animal Generator may in the future be supported in part by advertising provided through Google AdSense, a service of Google LLC.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED USD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes may be resolved in a court or forum of competent jurisdiction, or through another procedure required by applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Animal Generator regarding your use of the Service.
